The latest from the bargaining table: after months of posturing, the District has presented a contract proposal calling for a rollback of wages, benefits, reemployment, and other rights. Rationales for these changes remain unsubstantiated, to say the least.

AFT 2121 today filed an Unfair Labor Practice charge with the Public Employee Relations Board of California, which is empowered to enforce rights under our collective bargaining law, alleging that the District’s imposition of this paycut is unlawful.
