Say no to a Peralta “special trustee” | Connie Chan mobilization | Defund Calbright | Rep elections | More…

Sign on to the letter to Chancellor Oakley and BOG against appointing a “Special Trustee” to Peralta

Our Union siblings in the Peralta District have called on allies to help push back on the potential appointment of a “special trustee” by signing on to their letter.

Urge the Governor to defund Calbright

Calbright College is a failed experiment in online-only education. Teachers around the state, and the State Legislature itself, have recommended that the state instead fund our existing colleges, including our existing online programs. As preparations for the 2021-22 budget begin, please sign this letter urging Governor Newsom to follow the Legislature’s recommendation that Calbright College be eliminated and the funds redirected to the other 115 accredited California Community Colleges.
