At this month’s COPE meeting, you will consider a potential endorsement for a California State Assemblymember in AD 17.

Candidate questionnaires are in! To read candidates’ questionnaires and view their presentations to AFT 2121 members enter the password “COPE” once you click this link.

You must be an AFT 2121 member to participate in your union’s endorsements process. You can update your membership online.

CFT hosts Student Debt Clinics

CFT is hosting a series of Student Debt Clinics Nov 30th through Dec 2nd to help you navigate the new rules around Public Service Loan Forgiveness and introduce Summer, the free AFT member benefit that can help members figure out the best way to repay their loans.

Wed. 12/1, 9:30-11am & 5-6:30pm
Thurs, 12/2, 12-1:30pm & 5-6:30pm

The clinics show you how to enroll in Income Driven Repayment Plans in order to potentially reduce your monthly payments and to qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness. You’ll also hear updates on the latest Department of Education proposed budget, and learn how to get involved to make sure these vital programs exist in the future.
