Bargaining Update: Evaluations Cease-and-Desist

This week, administration laid out instructions for eval teams. However, we’re still at the bargaining table. We have not agreed on evaluation criteria, language for student surveys, or a method of observation for temporary remote classes. Without those agreements, evaluation teams have no basis to do their work. Teams should not be forced to move forward under such circumstances.

Thursday, we filed a cease-and-desist order and a demand to bargain. They can’t just go ahead with plans as if we’re not in bargaining. We expect a response on Friday with a bargaining date. Please join us for that single issue bargaining session once it’s scheduled – RSVP for a direct invitation.
