(9/24 & 9/26) Tell Chancellor Rocha: “Fund Education, not administration.”

At the Regular Board of Trustees Meeting this Thursday, Chancellor Mark Rocha will ask the Board of Trustees to approve enormous raises to college administrators.

Thursday, Sept. 26 at 4:00 p.m. at Conlan Hall. Tell the Chancellor that instead of over-the-top admin raises, our students need their classes restored, counselors rehired, and library hours reinstated. And tell the Chancellor and trustees how you, your department, or the college could better spend that money!

Wear your #RedForEd AFT T-shirt (or a red outfit)

***Note: There will also be a Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. at Downtown Campus 88 Fourth Street, Educated Palate. The entire meeting is a closed session agenda; however, students are planning some creative public comment. Go to support them or just enjoy the theatrics!

(9/25) – All students invited: Student Assembly

Our AFT 2121 student organizer, Marcos Cruz, has worked with other student organizers to found and grow a new group. The Student Assembly is a place for students to build collective power and representation, to connect on CCSF issues, and find solutions by grassroots organizing.

The first Student Assembly of the semester will be this Wednesday 9/25 in MUB Room 430 @ 3pm! All students are welcome!

At this meeting the Student Assembly will be reflecting on huge raises for top Administrators in the face of so many cuts, and think about next steps to bring student demands to the Board and Administration and continue organizing to build student power.
