(Tomorrow, 10/23) Supervisors Vote for a Living Wage

Come stand with AFT 2121 and our SF Labor Council to support low wage workers who provide critical support for the elderly, disabled and serve the most vulnerable in our City. We have a shortage of in-home health care workers and non-profit workers, many of which are on the verge of homelessness and poverty themselves.

Stand with fellow workers
Tomorrow, 10/23 from 1:30-4pm
SF City Hall, Supervisors’ Chamber
Special call: Add to the event momentum. “Interested?” RSVP “yes” & invite friends
**The Vote is scheduled for 3 PM but we need your help packing the house!**

All workers deserve a living wage and we are calling on City Hall to vote to support an increase to the Minimum Compensation Ordinance.

(Tues. 10/23, 3-5pm) All AFT 2121 members invite to our General membership and COPE meetings

All AFT 2121 members are invited to join our next General Membership Meeting on Ocean Campus in MUB 238 from 3-4:30 and our next COPE meeting from 4:30-5pm

(Now thru Election Day) Calling all members: Elections matter for our students and our college

AFT 2121 is involved with election activities nearly every day from now until the election. We’re reaching out to voters in San Francisco and in the East Bay so please: Sign up to help!

Next priority events:

  • Wednesday, 10/24 – 5:30-8pm at SEIU (17th St. and Kansas St) to phone bank for Prop C and Prop 10.
  • Saturday, 10/27 – 12:30-3:30pm meet at 156 8th St. to doorknock for Matt Hany for District 6 Supervisor.
  • Sunday, 10/28 – Meet at 11am and 2127 Irving St. to support our own Li Mao Lovett for school board and Gordon Mar for District 4 Supervisor.

We’ve worked hard to endorse candidates who share our values, are clear public education champions, will work with us to expand and make the Free City program permanent, and understand the importance of CCSF to our communities. We need to show up for our people and help get them elected.

Vote by mail ballots are out. It’s time to start voting! Here are our AFT 2121 November 2018 Election Endorsements.
