Reminder, BOT meeting: Tell your story about the affordability crisis

We all know the cost of living in the San Francisco Bay Area is pushing people out. And many of our faculty face housing instability. We need our CCSF leaders to commit to doing what it takes to confront the affordability crisis, retain and attract well-qualified faculty, and protect educational quality at our college. You can help by telling your story. Why do you love your job? Is the affordability crisis threatening your ability to remain an educator? What about your students?

Join our union:

  • in public comment to the Board of Trustees (January 25, 4pm, Southeast Campus)
  • or share your story at our Open Negotiations (January 31, 2pm, MUB 238).

Let’s ask the Board of Trustees and our administration for their support in protecting what matters at our college.

Please RSVP to Audrey Wallace (audreywallace415@gmail.com)

Can’t come out to the Board of Trustees or Open Negotiations? You can support our Bargaining Team by committing or re-committing to our Union.

Hundreds of faculty who have chosen to re-commit to our Union by signing our new membership form — with its loud, proud commitment to “stick with our union” for a full calendar year — have helped to keep us in a powerful position for our negotiations. If you have not done so this school year, please help us keep the momentum going and sign a new AFT 2121 membership form.
