AFT 2121 Retiree Chapter
Introduction
The American Federation of Teachers, Local 2121 Retiree Chapter represents the retired faculty of City College of San Francisco. We are retired teachers, counselors, librarians, and researchers dedicated to education and the learning process. We are part of the 1300 member bargaining unit of active CCSF faculty. Our retiree chapter was chartered in 1994.
Our strength is in our numbers, our resources, and our collective action. By joining, you support the local’s efforts at the bargaining table and at the state and national levels, where our parent unions work in support of faculty and public education.
We invite your active participation in the union’s democratic process by attending our union meetings, by serving on a committees, by running for retiree chapter office, and by volunteering during political campaigns.
